In order to reduce the burden of additional equipment on surgeons, the overall quality of the product must be strictly controlled and the parts must be simplified as much as possible. But at the same time, due to the special industry and usage environment of the operating room, the structure must be absolutely reliable and comfortable to wear continuously. The Feish team defines the product based on the entire user's usage process, including hardware layout, fixing method and operation method. A good balance needs to be found between the comfort, performance and battery life of the equipment to design a new product that meets the characteristics of the operating room, is highly reliable, easy to operate and comfortable to wear.

Feish Design designed a medical wearable helmet for Medzone. With the Prodow high-definition surgical video transmission system, it allows doctors to conveniently record real-time images during surgery. The main head-mounted part adopts an integrated molding design, giving users a holistic, lightweight, reliable and durable feeling. During the project advancement process, we continuously tested and optimized the conceptual solution through rapid iterative testing, and gradually improved the detailed design of the product.

For user experience, Feish Design adopts a comfortable and durable silicone head pad design and a one-handed battery design. The silicone material avoids the problems of easy dirtiness, repeated cleaning and disinfection of fabric and leather head pads in the past. After 5 adjustments and verifications, it has evolved from a simple pad to a hollow structure that is easy to install and more comfortable. After the first hospital product test, it was found that due to limited conditions, users were actually in a blind state when replacing batteries. The original spring button structure design of the battery was not completely reliable. After adjustments, a disassembly and assembly method based on a latch structure was used to provide users with a clearer guidance, a more direct and more reliable operation method.
